Low-Interest loans for small businesses are available under a new program available to Fulton County small businesses.  The Fulton Economic Development Corporation, through a grant from the USDA Rural Development agency, has created a revolving loan fund.

Business loans can be made at a reduced interest rate to start-ups and existing businesses that employ less than 50 people and have less than $1 million in annual gross sales.  A loan committee composed of local business leaders is used to approve applications.  Loans can be approved for no more than $50,000 and will be evaluated on a “first-come first-serve” basis.

Loan proceeds can be used for a wide variety of needs including new business ventures, financing new inventory, working capital, new signage, a new sidewalk, new computers or computer software.

For more information or to apply for a loan, contact Shane Blair at the Fulton Economic Development Corporation at 574-223-3326 or email sblair@fultondevelopment.org.
