Rochester – June 1, 2010 — The Fulton
Economic Development Corporation (FEDCO) in conjunction with the Rochester and
Lake Manitou Chamber of Commerce and Ivy
Tech Community College will host the next Lunch and Learn seminar series, “Farming
the Wind” on June 15th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the FEDCO/Chamber
offices. This seminar, offered FREE to the general

Learn educational events. Both “small
wind” and “big wind” will be discussed, including the costs and benefits of a
small, residential tower to the latest research about the feasibility of large
wind farms; including who benefits from wind power, and potential
drawbacks.
The presenters will be Regan Newton of New Holland
Rochester and Gloria Carvey of Ivy Tech Community
College. FEDCO
Executive Director Terry Lee states, “Wind is a very important part of our
energy source today and one of the cleanest forms of electrical energy
